Low Vision

lowvVision is one of the most precious functions that we have. Our daily life depends on seeing well, such as reading the right medicine bottle, seeing price tags and labels on items at the store, and driving.
Reduced vision frustrates us when performing our daily activities, and eventually forces us to change our lifestyle from the way we have lived. Low vision services can improve our daily activities by recommending the proper visual aids for each desired task. It may be impossible to achieve all of our desires, but low vision services can assist to improve the quality of life with the proper evaluation, planning, and training.

Our office provides a full spectrum of low vision services to evaluate conditions and set realistic goals for visual tasks. We will then implement an active plan by prescribing low vision devices and training the patient in how to use them. We customize each device's use based on the desired visual tasks and conditions of the patient. Once the proper devices areprescribed, we train each patient on how and when to use them. Their progress will then be monitored by follow-up check ups.
