Seeing Flies or Spider webs?

If you are experiencing flies, dots or spider web like objects in your vision, you may be seeing floaters. Floaters are tissues of fibers or dead cells in your eyes. Floaters may stay with you since birth. But sudden floaters can be from the retina of your eyes. It can be a broken piece of the retina or a part of the membrane. A sudden on-set of floaters needs to be checked out immediately in order to avoid any more damage or retinal tears. Retinal detachment can cause severe vision loss if it is not treated promptly. Please contact our office with your medical insurance information when you call in for an appointment.
